LESS RUNAROUND.
MORE ON SCREEN.
Manage advertising playlists, publish to connected players and check their status. Built for practical content delivery, including the times your Internet connection isn’t cooperating.
BIG THING.
Interactive illustration only. This is not a live customer dashboard or proof of physical display output.
ONE PLACE TO
MANAGE THE ROTATION.
ORGANIZE & PUBLISH
Upload JPG and MP4 content, create named playlists, and assign published playlists to registered players.
KEEP THE LAST VALID CONTENT
Players retain verified, cached content for local playback when the CMS connection is unavailable. New updates require connectivity or manual import.
SEE THE PLAYER’S STATUS
Check reported heartbeat, playback mode and loaded playlist. Software status helps with diagnosis; it does not verify the physical board’s image.
HAVE A MANUAL OPTION
Export a published playlist, import it locally, and use manual playback until you choose to return to automatic CMS updates.
THE RIGHT FIT
COMES FIRST.
SHOW ME THE SETUP.
Share the board and controller models, player specifications, operating system and current display software.
TEST THE FULL PATH.
Content on a desktop is only part of the picture. We need to test the controller connection and physical display.
DOCUMENT WHAT WORKS.
Agree on the tested configuration, startup behavior, recovery procedure and support scope before rollout.
Current deployments use Windows players with existing Formetco display software. Compatibility is evaluated per setup. Universal billboard support, Linux support and independent two-face playback are not currently offered as verified capabilities.
A CLEAR STARTING POINT.
PLAYER SOFTWARE LICENSE
One active player entitlement, with replacement transfers available. Transfer terms and any applicable fee are confirmed before replacement.
DISCUSS YOUR PLAYERSHOSTED CMS & SOFTWARE SUPPORT
- Hosted CMS access
- CMS backups and an off-server copy
- Moondog software support and customer documentation
Hardware, billboard integration, third-party software licenses, content management, Internet, remote desktop tools and travel are separate. Final scope, any applicable tax and service start are agreed in writing. No self-service checkout is available yet.
A FEW PRACTICAL DETAILS.
Can I use my existing billboard player?
Possibly. Share its specifications and the board/controller details first. Moondog software and the vendor’s hardware-control software have different roles. Existing vendor authorization and a physical display test may be required.
What happens if the Internet goes down?
The player can continue using its last verified cached playlist while power, the player and the display-control chain remain operational. Remote publishing and fresh status updates resume when communication is restored. A separate hardware or network fault may need diagnosis.
Can one player show different ads on two board faces?
That capability is still under investigation and is not part of the current offering. Plan on a separately qualified configuration for each output.
Can I download and install it myself?
A customer software-download area is planned. For now, contact Cory for installation and registration arrangements. Hardware integration is separately scoped.
Do you provide or create advertising content?
Customers supply finished content. Optional content management is separately quoted, with included changes and turnaround agreed before enrollment.
